Early afternoon we set off for Cuckfield to visit our friend Sally's mum, Jennifer, in the lovely little West Sussex village of Cuckfield. We had a pleasant hour or so and lots of laughs, sampled a piece of Christmaas cake with cheese - a Northern tradition, and called in at a lovely country pub on our way home, where I'm sure there were more dogs than people!
Today, Monday 27th, we're off to Twickenham for 'The Big Game'; London Irish vs Harlequins.
Annabelle's brother, Ross has organised us a bit of corporate hospitality through his workplace, Alfa Romeo. I'm planning to head off a bit earlier than the others to have a walk down the memory lanes of Richmond, where I used to live many moons ago.
Tomorrow we fly off in the morning to Madrid. Blogs might be a bit few & far between for the next few days so I'll sign off & wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR... hasta la vista!!!
