After a couple of hours scanning the sales of Richmond, it was off to Twickenham for 'The Big Game'...
Ross & Livi |
We wined and dined in the Carling Suite before joining the crowd of more than 74000 in the steep stand.
Great atmosphere.
The Harlequins (who most people around us seemed to be cheering for) beat London Irish 28 something in a fairly lack-lustre game where most of the points came from penalties.
We played sardines in the train on the way back to Redhill; a journey that took more than two hours aaarrgh
do I miss living in London...yeah right!
Still it was a great day and we're all set now to fly off to Madrid in the morning to begin the next part of our grand adventure...sounds as though we won't quite be leaving Siberia behind just yet though...
