Happy New Year from Portugal...technology has failed me....my computer has bitten the dust and I´ve finally located an internet cafe in little Moncarapacho but am having major problems uploading photos so I´m afraid this is it for now...
Potugal is great....we spent New Year´s Eve in Tavira - dined with hooting tooting Poms at Restaurante Briso do Rio the took in the spectacular fireworks across the river.
New Year´s Day was a short drive to our villa for the next week, Casa Alegria.
You´ll just have to close your eyes and imagine blue sky, oranges bigger than soccer balls ( and incredibly juicy), tiles wherever you look...
Will sign off for today as it´s a shame to spend such a lovely day in front of a computer that won´t behave...
Incidentally, the food here is fantastic...mission accomplished!
